Grand Sifu Jeremy Chin - kung fu sw19Welcome to the International Phor Kune Kung Fu Association website located in Wimbledon SW19.

Why: The main purpose is to introduce people to Kung Fu.

How: Just work through the menu. Each page will give explicit advice on
starting Kung Fu.

Phor Kune Kung Fu is similar to Tai Chi, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Jujitsu, Judo, boxing, wrestling, Wu Shu, in that it is a martial art. This particular style of martial art is based in Wimbledon, London SW19. Phor Kune Kung Fu attracts members outside of the Wimbledon and London area: Raynes Park, Kingston, Mitcham, Steatham, Putney, Croydon and as far south as Crawley. The members use their martial arts training as a way to self-improvement. Strengthening powers of concentration through the practise of meditation and peripheral vision. Strengthening the body by exercising flexibility, stamina and conditioning. The practitioners of martial arts come from all walks of life, some view it as a sport, others for self defence, and after a while many adopt it as a life style owing to the great de-stressing qualities of martial arts. The Phor Kune Kung Fu club has been based in Wimbledon for more than 25 yrs. Serving the SW19 and London community by providing a martial art taught in a traditional Chinese format. Akin to yoga, Phor Kune Kung Fu centres the individual developing synergy between mind, body and spirit. Come and experience your first class of Kung Fu totally free at the Community
Centre Wimbledon.
